“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” Malachi 3:10
I love that someone left that verse in the group page set up for the Coopers. We had the awesome opportunity to be a really fun part of a neat fundraiser about 20 people put on for the Cooper family this past Saturday at Black on Burlington in North Kansas City. There were so many great things happening that night that everyone was helping a little bit everywhere. We didn’t even have someone running the booth, but somehow everyone seemed to figure it out and there was quite the line back there with all of Johnny Coopers friends. We are so blessed to know SO many incredible people in the event/wedding industry that helped put this on we are just at a loss for words. A simple “thank you” is just not enough. God is SO faithful and he always provides, and to see so much love flow from everyone and pour into Mary, Amanda, April and their dad Johnny who suffered the cardiac arrest, was just, stinking, amazing!
Our goal was to raise $8000 total for this family. At the EVENT ALONE, we raised…….. $6000! We had about 150 people attend (fabulous), and everyone has raised $1000 online. We also have a few hundred set up in their bank acct we’ve created, so we are JUST RIGHT under the $8000 goal everyone! Keep up the good word and trust me, a little bit goes a LONG way!
If you couldn’t attend the event and would still like to donate to this amazing cause, it would mean the world to this family. One medical bill at a time we can help them. Here is the website you can donate to. What a blessed weekend! Thank you all for jumping in the Banana Who? Booth. Download all the images on the gallery here.
HUGE thanks and tons of hugs to any and all of these people, and then some. We could make a list for days so I apologize if you are not recognized here on the blog. But your heart is golden and will be rewarded in Heaven without a doubt in my mind. We are very blessed to have known you.
